Si è tenuto ieri sera a Los Angeles il grande show annuale per la consegna dei Grammy Awards, ormai noti come gli Oscar della musica.

Quest'anno è stato il trionfo delle “vecchie glorie”, ovvero autori di carriera pluriennale e grande esperienza.

Cinque le statuette assegnate a Robert Plant, storico leader dei Led Zeppelin, e ad Alison Krauss, regina della country music. I due, con Raising sand, hanno anche conquistato l'ambito Grammy per il miglior disco dell'anno, che hanno realizzato assieme.

Tre i premi per gli ingelsi Coldplay e per il rapper Lyl Wayne, mentre la migliore artista emergente è l'ormai nota Adele.

La cerimonia è stato come ogni anno una parata di star che ha visto alternarsi sul palco band del calibro di U2, Radiohead, Justin Timberlake, Stevie Wonder, per citare solo alcuni.

L'esibizione di Rihanna è stata invece annullata all'ultimo momento. La cantante, aggredita nel pomeriggio dal fidanzato Chris Brown, non ha potuto esibirsi a causa delle lesioni riportate. Al momento Brown sarebbe già in mano alla polizia, arrestato.

Insomma, una serata glamour che si è tinta, purtroppo, di giallo.
